microchip, but neither the finder's vet nor the shelter were able to
find it when they scanned her.
Thankfully, her tag brought her home.

Above and Beyond English Setter Rescue has used these ID tags with
great success. Since the tags are associated with a 24 Hour service, our dogs
have been back with their adopters within a very short period of
being found. Every dog has an assigned number on their tag which makes them
identifiable within Pet Shepherd, NC's private database. In most cases after receiving a
call from Pet Shepherd, NC
and because we have a phone number for a volunteer
who was home during the day and a phone number for a volunteer who was
home at night, also listed in our information with Pet Shepherd, NC,
the
dogs who had escaped their adopters clutches were home within 15
minutes of the call from Pet Shepherd, NC to us. We have had some
thrilled adopters whose dogs had gotten away, who thanked us
profusely for getting their English Setter back to their loving arms
so very quickly. I highly recommend these tags for anyone and for
rescues who are struggling with funds. Often the cost of microchips

Hey Pam! Thanks for the reminder about registering Madison
and
Toby's pet tags...every day I think 'There's something I need to do
related to those two that I keep forgetting to do...' and that's
what it
is! The two of them are THOROUGHLY enjoying their new pet beds!
They
switch
off between who gets the big, comfy square one and who gets the big,
comfy circular bed. My black lab Madison is partial to the circular
one; she
likes to curl up in a ball in the middle of it. Toby looks like he's
on
his throne when he sits smack dab in the middle of the enormous
square
bed. The two of them are a hoot! Hands down these beds are the best
ones
I've ever bought (and Madison and Toby agree)!
